Mia Amini is a Certified NARM® Practitioner and trauma-informed psychotherapist based in Frederiksberg, Denmark. She specialises in complex and developmental trauma, toxic relationship recovery, self-sabotage and boundary work, and offers sessions in English, Danish and Persian.
Long bio
Mia Amini is a Certified NARM® Practitioner (Complex Trauma Training Center, 2025) and Certified EFT Psychotherapist (EFT Institute Copenhagen). She has more than a decade of clinical experience and over 600 hours of advanced training in complex trauma. Her practice is based in Frederiksberg, Denmark, with online sessions available worldwide.
Born in Afghanistan and raised across India, Denmark and beyond, Mia draws on both lived experience and clinical training to support adults navigating C-PTSD, developmental trauma, toxic family dynamics, self-sabotage and the nervous-system aftermath of long-term stress. She has volunteered as a therapist with the Danish Cancer Society and TUBA (support for adult children of alcohol- and drug-dependent parents).
She is the author of No Contact, No Guilt, a compassionate guide to releasing toxic family ties, and the 30 Day Trauma Workbook. She writes and speaks on trauma-informed care, NARM, nervous-system regulation, boundaries and the long arc of recovery.
